Is it a mouse, a calculator or a numeric keypad? Actually it is all 3, and it is the latest gadget (model LT-100TKM) released created by Canon. Starting in late July, 2008, consumers will be able to pickup a mouse that doubles as both a calculator and a numeric keypad.

Expectations on the sale of this gadget are low. Over a period of a year, Canon expects to sell about 15,000 of the LT-100TKM in the Japanese marketplace. For a select niche, this product may suit their needs, but for most, I would think the keypad on a full size keyboard and the calculator built into most operating systems will suffice.
