The iPhone server farm is a prototype created by Japan’s FreeBit to promote their new free software application called ServersMan. This free utility, designed for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Windows Mobile phones allows you to convert your smartphone into a web server, network storage or file viewer.
The portable server supports up to five iphones. If you like to have the latest gadgets or refresh your phone regularly, chances are that you may have a couple of spare ones lying around the home. You could sell them on online auction sites such as Ebay to recover some of your initial investment, but if that’s not your thing, perhaps you could create your own server farm, assuming this comes out of the prototype stage.
