iPhone 5 Extends International Reach On November 2nd

There’s no denying that Apple has a cult like following around the world and the launch of a new product generally means long lineups with loyal customers camping outside retail locations to be amongst the first to pick up a device. The iPhone 5 may already be in some markets, but its international availability is about to grow as of next Friday.

According to leaked reports and new rumors, it would appear that on November 2nd, new markets will get a crack at the iPhone 5. Of course, Apple has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors, but there are several international papers that have picked up on this story. For instance, the Economic Times of India is saying that next Friday’s launch “is certain” with the iPhones to be shipped to retail outlets in the next few days. The Bangkok Post has also confirmed the November 2nd date.

Elsewhere in the world, we have publications from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Malta that have also reported the same launch date using their own internal sources. In addition to these locations, we’re also hearing that next Friday will see the launch of the iPhone 5 in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Croatia. It’s going to be a busy week for Apple to get everything in place for next Friday’s launch, lets see how they make out.
