Earlier this week, Apple came out with their latest iOS version, iOS 4.2.1 and with it came changes, but not all of them being positive. Since the update, there have been a few Apple fans that have been reporting experienced issues.
The reports that have been coming in have been from European iPhone 3G users that have an unlocked phone, but have moved to another mobile carrier that Apple has not officially partnered up with. These users have found that the Internet Tethering option on their phone has been lost. For some that are always on the move, this can be a rather frustrating issue.
From what we’re hearing, this issue is limited to just iPhone users that are on a non-approved Apple network. Also it is only the 3G model that is affected, iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS are unaffected. Apple has not provided any official explanation at this time, but hopefully a resolution will be forthcoming soon.
