Human Skeleton Made From Recycled Cassettes

I have to give credit for the creativity of artist Brian Dettmer and have to admire what he’s done with his old cassettes. He’s taken old cassette tapes that are no longer required and has recycled them into the shape of a human skeleton. His work was so creative that it was on display at the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago, as part of his ‘Postoperative’ exhibition.

Looking at these creations, I am pretty impressed at how well they do look. When you look at the skull below, you’ll note that many of the bones are made up former Judas Priest and Motley Crew cassettes and I wonder if that was a deliberate attempt at giving the skull some personality. Personally, I prefer to see these type of singers rather then someone like Cool and the gang. I guess it just makes the skull look a bit tougher.
