HTC announced the release of HTC Touch HD, a multimedia product running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, that brings HD quality to the consumer by means of a 3.8″ WVGA screen (800×480 pixels), all tied together with touch-responsive TouchFLOTM 3D, their patented user interface.
Touch HD offers internet access at broadband speeds due to the incorporation of 3.5G technology. With this type of speed, accessing email and Google Maps by means of the wide screen simply enhances the browsing experience.
HD availability is the biggest selling point of the HTC Touch, but standard features include a built in auto focus 5 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm audio jacks, GPS connectivity, Qualcomm® MSM 7201A™ 528 MHz processor and 288 MB of RAM.
At only 12 mm in width and 146.4 grams, the HTC Touch is a great all around entertainment device.
