Today, HTC Corporation announced the availability of the 2009 HTC Touch Cruise, a personal navigation handset with build in GPS and geo-tagging. The 2009 HTC Touch Cruise has been redesigned, making it more compact then earlier models.
The latest handset comes with HTC Footprints, a signature application of this mobile phone. This geo-tagging application allows you to chronicle your special moments by allowing you to capture a digital postcard of your favorite spot and subsequently add notes, audio clips and as well as tag it’s geographical location using the GPS map coordinates.
The Touch Cruise can also be used as an advanced in-car navigation system. By placing it within the included car cradle, the device transforms into an easy to use, one touch navigation system that offers turn by turn directions.
Additional features of the new GPS phone include a 2.8-inch TFT-LCD touch-sensitive screen, 3.2 MP fixed focus digital camera, 256 MB RAM, blutooth and wireless capabilities. Expect to see the HTC Touch Cruise in retail markets in the spring of 2009.
