HTC Incredible Makes Leaked Video Debut

Snappy name, I’ll admit, and the HTC Incredible looks and feels the part if the recently-leaked videos and photos of it are accurate. HTC’s new Android phone will be carried by the Verizon network, and sports some pretty powerful specs.

What little leaked information is available tells us that the HTC Incredible will be based on the fast, reliable Snapdragon CPU. It’ll also run on Android 2.1 with Sense UI, as well as 256MB of memory. More suggestions say that the phone will also have an optical pointer and two LED flashes for its camera.

Not much information is available on the display as of yet, but it’s either 3.5- or 3.7-inch with WVGA resolution. Whether or not it’s AMOLED-based is anyone’s guess at this point.

Form-wise, it may disappoint some HTC fans, and perhaps lead some of us to hope the leaked videos and photos are dead wrong. The Incredible sports a color scheme that reminds us too easily of Microsoft’s Zune player, and the contour of the handset’s backplate is a little questionable.

It would seem that the HTC incredible was built for pure functionalists, who don’t really care much about squeaky-clean form factors. There is a shaky video of the HTC incredible here if you’re interested.
