The HTC Droid Incredible is a pretty decent handset on features alone, but could it be that this Android phone has some rugged features build into it as well? By no means does this one account confirm its durability, but it’s interesting to note that late one evening, an Android Central forum user who goes by the handle of tyler0630 “accidentally” dropped his handset in an open bonfire late one evening while at the beach.
Though details of how it dropped into the bonfire isn’t clear, I suspect beer was involved. In any case, he did manage to fish his phone out. Without a doubt, the phone was physically damaged and the external plastic case had melted. Turns out though that the phone continued to work as if it was a new phone.
