Images have begin to surface which some are reporting as the HTC Desire HD. The leak comes by way of the UWants forum and though it’s always interesting to see what the various phone makers are up to, some are questioning the accuracy of this one.

The reason for this is because the device pictured above does not resemble the form factor of the original HTC Desire. In terms of the hardware configuration, earlier rumors paint the HTC Desire HD with a 1GHZ processor with a 4.3-inch display screen, 4GB integrated storage, an 8 megapixel camera, 720p high definition recording, Xvid playback and SRS audio. The handset will also have Google Android 2.2 (Froyo) as the operating system of choice.

I’m sure we’ll hear more about the HTC Desire HD but this phone doesn’t bring a lot of new features to the table and the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processors have become a bit dull now.
