This geeky comfort keyboard was the basement project of online artist Datamancer.

The design was commissioned at the request of his friends who are big fans of the Scrabble board game.

The keys themselves are scrabble tiles that have been hand-beveled and then attached to a USB mechanical keyboard.

The objective of the mod was to have an elegant design that would look well in a Mac environment. As such, brushed aluminum was used for the casing and rounded corners finish the look.

Although not officially approved by Hasbro Toys, there is high consumer demand in this keyboard mod and as such, there is a chance that these may go on sale once the legalities have all been worked out.
