Dell has announced the availability of the OptiPlex 160 Tiny Desktop Computer. The OptiPlex 160 is only 1.85″ thick, providing the end user with an ample amount of desk space. With the base model selling for $563, the only thing missing is an internal floppy drive.
The PC includes the following features:
- Intel Atom single core processor
- 80GB HDD
- 1GB RAM
- Integrated video
- Windows Vista Home
If you can hold off your purchase until 2009, a dual core processor unit will become available. Those looking for a few more bells and whistles can add to the base package 64GB SSD and an external DVD-ROM drive.
