
Apple has confirmed that they will now offer high definition movies to Canadian customers through iTunes Canada. The service has been available for US customers since March, but is only now rolling out north of the border.
As part of the package, Canadians will have the option to rent movies in HD quality for $5.99 while new releases in standard definition will cost $4.99. On the other hand, if you prefer to own these new release movies, be ready to fork out $24.99 for HD quality or $19.99 for standard definition.
The last option available is for catalog HD movies which will retail in the range of $14.99-$19.99 or a 2 day rental will cost $4.99.
