Most product vendors are looking to introduce 3D technology into their lineup of gadgets and devices. The Apple iPhone and iPod Touch may not have this now, but this is going to change shortly due to a new accessory being introduced by Hasbro.

The company wants to launch their My3D viewer which will allow Apple fans the opportunity to view 3D images using proprietary My3D apps that they will be make available in both a free and paid version. You may wonder what type of 3D content will be available when this accessory goes live and to answer this question, Hasbro has partnered up with a number of A-list companies including the Discovery Channel, IMAX, Dreamworks Animation, Sony and of course Apple. Through these partnerships, Hasbro anticipates having 3D content of up to 20 minutes in duration that will consist of behind the scenes development and short movie clips. There will also be a 3D game involving a virtual scuba driver.

If you’re thinking this is going to be expensive, Hasbro has a surprise in store for you as their device will sell for $30. It should be available next spring.
