You may remember Haleron as the company that some time back announced the Swordfish Net102 netbook, their new netbook that came with two Intel Atom N270 processors. This was not a mainstream dual core processor, but rather two separate processors which placed a heavy demand on power consumption and really didn’t offer any improved performance.
Haleron is back again, this time with their Swordfish 20 netbook. Unlike it’s predecessor, this one comes with a dual core Atom 330 processor that works nicely with both Windows and Linux machines.
Along with the Intel processor, the Swordfish 20 also has a 10.2-inch screen display with 1024×600 pixel resolution, 2GB RAM, 1.3MP webcam and a 6 cell battery. For network connections, the device supports wired Ethernet, 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. Optionally, users can either go with the included 160GB hard drive or have it upgraded to 250GB.
The Haleron netbook will retail for $499.
