gScreen Corp is offering what they claim to be the first true dual screen notebook. Known as the GScreen G400, this new notebook computer comes with two identical 15.4″ back lit displays.
The dual screen display does add a bit of weight (7.7 lbs) and thickness to the laptop, but could be balanced out by the potential productivity gains with having an additional display.
Outside of the dual screen feature, the base model comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz T9600, 4GB RAM, 160GB 7200 RPM HD, a NVIDIA® Quadro FX 2700M Graphics card and a full size keyboard.
Pre-orders for the G400 are being accepted with the release date set as February 25th, 2009.
