Myphone Headphones

Griffin Technology, the accessory manufacturer, has recently released a set of headphones that’s made specially for kids. Dubbed MyPhones, these headphones are smaller than standard size and are meant to be worn over kids’ little ears. What’s great about the MyPhones is that it has a built-in mechanism that prevents it from emitting sounds over 85 decibels, the recommended maximum volume to avoid hearing damage.

Headsets are pretty much a staple in computing today, but users always live with the risk of getting long-term hearing damage after prolonged use, especially when used to listen to loud music. Griffin apparently thinks of the future generation more closely than a few unscrupulous accessory companies, which should earn it quite a bit of a following in the next generation.

The MyPhones come with heavy-duty cables for longevity, and are also customizable. Kids can come up with their own designs for the inserts, and even download designs made by others over the Internet. The MyPhones should make a great Halloween and Thanksgiving gift for the little guy, and parents should be fine with the $40 price tag.
