Greenhouse Picodrive Dual X USB Flash Drive

Green-House, a Japanese tech company has announced a series of new flash drives called the PicoDrive Dual X. The new drives are available in 5 drive capacities which range from 4GB on the low end to 64GB on the high side. This does put it on par with some of the offerings available through Corsair.

The two larger drives, 32GB and 64GB both come with a read speed of 32 MB/s and a write speed of 17 MB/s whereas the three smaller drives (4GB, 8GB, 16GB) have been developed with a slower read and write speed.

The Dual X USB sticks all support data encryption which is handy in the event that the drive is inadvertently left somewhere. In addition, all drives are compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 which would be expected.

Although no indication of a US or UK launch date was made, we do know that the drives are available in Japan with price ranging from 2,280 Yen to 22,800 Yen.
