GR100 Video Editing Keyboard

GR100 Video Editing Keyboard

For video editors, there’s a whole host of video editing software available from professional quality down to basic software that would meet the minimal needs of an individual looking to perhaps edit a movie file and subsequently upload to a video sharing site such as YouTube. Although software suites such as Windows Movie Maker and the Apple iMovie are available and do come with onscreen toggles that allow you to move back and forth through a movie clip using a cursor and mouse, nothing quite beats a joggle/shuttle wheel.

This is where the Codeact Greditor Pro GR100 keyboard steps in with an integrated shuttle wheel situated to the right of the number pad. Not only does the GR100 come with a shuttle wheel to help find the specific movie track you are after, but there is an inner dial that offers precession control to find the exact movie frame. Additionally, a set of buttons are placed around the dial that offer shortcut keys to some of the more popular video editing functions.

The GR100 was developed by the Korean manufacturer CodeAct. As such, it is compatible with GReditor but it is also compatible with Adobe Premier and Pinnacle. The keyboard which is available in either English or Japanese retails for the princely sum of $275.
