The GPS has always been such an impersonal device, just resting on the dash of a car, providing directions on which way to travel. Yes it’s reliable, but what about the personality?
The GPS Teddy Bear adds the personality that some might crave. Yes, it’s cute and cuddly, and it’s also functional. Not only does this GPS gadget verbally provide you with directions to where you want to travel, but it’s stubby arms will also point in the general direction of travel. Cute? Sure.
But wait, it does have even more functionality. This teddy bear also has an alcohol detection sensor built into it’s neck. If the bear thinks you’ve been drinking, it will start to verbally advise you about the risks of drinking and driving.
If you drink and want to ensure you never drive, this might be a great gadget for you. The reason I say this is picture this, you’ve had a bit to much to drink. You take the wheel and start driving. From behind you hear a nagging voice and arms pointing in various directions. Look over and you see a bear talking to you. Is this real or an hallucination, just the mere thought of a bear waiving it’s hands at you and speaking will probably very quickly get you to pull over.
On a more serious note, this could be a nice gift for a child. The bear provides a comforting image for a child and the GPS could help a lost child find his or her way home.
