In celebration of Google’s 10th birthday, Google is inviting the public to take a stroll down memory lane by accessing Google Search as it existed back in 2001. To travel back in time when Google had indexed a measly 1,326,920,000 pages, just visit Google 2001.

Back in 2001, life was so much easier. What was 2001 like for Google? Back then, the number one site returned for Paris Hilton was the Hilton in Paris France, while a search for Sarah Palin brought up a site on the Ancestors of Edgar and Maureen Gregory.

Check it out, it’s interesting to see how search results have changed over the last 10 years.
