The arrival of the Google Nexus One to Vodafone, a leading mobile telecommunications company was well known but what was unclear was the official release date and pricing. The only inkling we had about the launch date was “Spring 2010″.

Vodafone and Google have still not released these specifics, but we’re about about a week away from the new season and it looks like Google and Vodafone are gearing up for the launch of the HTC handset. On the Vodafone website, the Google phone is listed as coming soon and there is now an option to register your email address so that you can get a heads up when the Google phone is available for pre-order.

The January sales figures for the Nexus One were disappointing, but it is expected that the launch of the mobile phone on the Vodafone network will help to improve these numbers.
