Announced this morning on the Google Chrome Blog was the availability of the new Google Chrome Beta release. The biggest improvement with the new beta are the speed gains.

In speed tests conducted, the new beta proved itself to be 25% faster on the V8 benchmark and 35% faster on the Sunspider benchmark when compared to the current stable version of Chrome.

Some of the new features incorporated into the Chrome beta include form autofill, full page zoom, autoscroll and drag tabs so that you can get side by side viewing.

Chrome users will now have three options when it comes to their favorite internet browser, a stable version for mainstream users, a developer track for programmers and a beta track for those that prefer to be on the cutting edge.
