If you remember the Barnes & Noble reader reviewed last week, you’ll note there are similarities with the Spring Design Alex.
The Alex is a dual screen reader, one screen being a 6-inch monochrome display while the other is a 3.5-inch touchscreen display that offers full web browsing. Along with the dual screens, the Alex features WiFi and 3G as well as includes an SD card that allows you to port web screen captures from the smaller to the larger display screen.
According to Spring Design, they have begun enlisting content providers for their device and expect to release the unit later this year.
