If you have very young kids or have gone through that stage, you can probably remember the days that you had off and were looking forward to sleeping in a bit, only to be woken up at the crack of dawn by your little bundles of joy.
Very young kids don’t have a great concept of time and use lighting conditions to determine when to wake up and when to sleep. The Nite Lite helps modify behavior and assists children to recognize when it is time to stay in bed and when it is time to wake up.
The Good Nite Lite is able to do this by having a timer within it. Parents have the ability to set the times that the child should go to sleep (when the moon comes out) and when the child should wake up (when the sun comes out).
When the child goes to sleep at night, they will see the dim moon which reinforces sleep. Should the child wake up in the middle of the night, they can quickly glance over at the clock. If the moon is still lit, it means that it is not time to get up yet and the child will go back to sleep. It is only when the sun comes out that the child is to wake up.
