The Gessi Rettangolo bathroom ceiling faucets are a mix of black and white, minimalistic by design, yet very unique. If you thought bathroom fixtures couldn’t get any more extravagant then the motion activated fixtures in many public bathrooms, then you have to take a look at this design.
Most public buildings, especially if they are one floor only and older in age, probably don’t have plumbing in the ceiling and if it came down to retro fitting, this would be a rather expensive project.
However, from the point of view of artistic impression, the Gessi Rettangolo faucets are beautiful in their simplicity. When you walk into a bathroom that has one of these installed, you simply see a tube hanging from the ceiling. Believe it or not, this is the faucet. Adjacent to the sink is what appears to be a joystick and with this, you can control water flow. Perfect for the gamer.
This is a cool design, I’d just hate to be the one to have to clean the faucet…can you tell me where the ladder is?
