I came across Gear Head Shampoo this morning and had a good laugh. Targeting the beef jerky eating badass guy niche is awesome and having a bottle designed to look like a 1 quart oil bottle will certainly be appealing. According to the site, no more using the “fruity shampoo your woman put in the shower”. So far so good.
It’s when you take a look at the product ingredients that you see the dilemma. Gear Head Shampoo contains “Aloe Vera Gel, Oils of Lemon, Orange, & Basil Fragrance”. Sounds fruity, but heck, you’ve probably got the coolest shampoo bottle in any guy bathroom and which of your friends is going to look at the ingredients anyway?
