Garmin has introduced three new personal navigation devices to its 3700 series. The new models are the 3750, 3760T and the 3790T. Common to all of the three Garmin models is a standard touchscreen display that measures 4.3-inches in size and supports both landscape and portrait mode. As the display screens are capacitive touch, they also support the pinch to zoom feature.
Of the three models, the Nuvi 3790T would be considered the flagship unit and as such, it includes a customizable “wake-up phrase” that can be used to enable the voice-activated navigation. The benefit of this of course is that you never lose sight of the road. In addition, both the Nuvi 3790T and the Nuvi 3760T come with free traffic alerts for the lifetime of the product as well as Bluetooth wireless technology that can be used in combination with a mobile phone for hands free calling.
Pricing for the personal navigators has been set at $349.99 for the Nuvi 3750, $399.99 for the Nuvi 3760T and $449.99 for the Nuvi 3790T.
