Last week, we brought you news that development of the Crunchpad, Michael Arrington’s web tablet was all but dead. The Crunchpad story does have a number of twists and turns with today’s development being that Fusion Garage, one of Arrington’s partners, will demo the device at a media event being held in San Francisco next Monday.
In addition to the demonstration, Fusion Garage CEO, Chandra Rathakrishnan plans to tell his side of the story regarding the falling out with Arrington. Since both parties seem to own portions of Crunchpad’s intellectual property, it will take the courts some time to sort this one out, but it will be interesting to finally get a chance to look at the $300-$400 web tablet that we’ve heard so much about.
