Fujitsu has announced their new phone called the F-04B. The mobile phone comes with a 3.4-inch screen, dual keyboard and an optional pico projector. The F-04B is modular, able to split into a QWERTY keyboard as well as a touchscreen component, with both parts of the phone remaining in contact with one another through a wireless Bluetooth connection. The modular phone can be used in either detached mode or it can be reassembled and used as a slider phone.

One of the nice features of the phone is the optional 6 lumen pico projector that can blow up an image to 854 x 480 screen resolution. The projector comes with an 800mAh battery that is capable of delivering 2 hours of video playback. When in use, the keyboard needs to be detached so that the projector can be hooked up. In doing so, the keyboard can then be used as a remote control to operate the projection unit.
It appears that Fujitsu plans to release this modular phone in the Japanese market but no date has been firmed up at this time.
