The FinePix Real 3D W1 compact digital camera will offer photographers a whole new user experience with 3D images and video without the need for specialized 3D glasses. A Fujifilm first, this camera will make use of two special lenses and two 10MP CCDs to create this special effect.
With a UK launch date of September, this digital camera includes an 8-inch 3D screen that can be used for viewing 3D movies. Along with this launch, Fujifilm will also be releasing the Real 3D V1 picture viewer, a wireless picture frame that can be used to showcase your images.
For those that prefer traditional photography, it should be mentioned that this camera is backwards compatible, supporting 2D digital movies and picture stills.
This will be an interesting product release, we are just waiting for an announcement regarding pricing.
