I am happy that my local recycle center takes Alkiline (sp) batteries.  I use rechargeable ones where I can.</description>

I mean, how many billions of disposable batteries which contains many hazardous materials are used every year?

I expect those batteries to take some time to be available and the price to be quite high to begin with, but as I said, it&#039;s a step in the good direction.
