With lower then expected user acceptance of Microsoft Windows Vista, the Redmond company is making an added effort to promote Windows 7.
Their recent move includes allowing users to download Windows 7 RC and if you love online freebies, the best part about this one is that you can try the new operating system for free until June 5, 2010.
That’s a pretty good deal to have an opportunity to try this lightweight OS for free for a period of one year before you have to buy a full license. RC1 is now available on the Microsoft download server, let’s just hope we don’t have a recurrence of the situation that occurred back in January when users were unable to download Windows 7 Beta because the servers were down due to unprecedented demand.
