Just a reminder that starting next week, the Internet calling service Skype will be offering free group video conference calls. Up until now, video calling was limited to just person to person, but the change will come as part of a new beta service that Skype plans to rollout with the new version of Skype software next week.
On the downside, this is a limited offer. It’s a chance for Skye users to try out the new features and as a beta service, it will allow Skype to work out any bugs that are discovered. Skype has said that they will start charging a service fee later this year, but the exact date has not been revealed.
