Keeping in line with interesting inventions, here’s another that I think is great. A friend of mine was speaking to me about this about a year ago. At that time, his daughter was about 4 years old. One of the things she liked to do was speak to her grandma over the phone, but at that age, her reading skills were limited. Any time she wanted to speak with grandma, her dad would have to dial the number for her.
Dad wanted to keep these lines of communications open, even when he was tied up for whatever reason. As a result, he took pictures of all the special people in his daughters life, placed them on the phone and setup a speed dial adjacent to the picture. Any time his daughter wanted to now speak to grandma, it was only a matter of locating the picture and pressing the button adjacent to it.
Fast forward a couple of years to today, and Fotodialer has commercialized this process. According to their website, “FotoDialer makes remembering a phone number as easy as recognizing a picture.”.
A system such as FotoDialer would be ideal for young kids, as well as the elderly who may have trouble remembering phone numbers.

This is a no brainer; I think it is a nifty gadget. I think I will get one for sure. Hope it gets here by Father’s Day.
I do hope you are able to pick up the Fotodialer before Father’s Day. Let me know if you have any luck.
