Thanks to iPods, portable media players, and other digital devices that offer entertainment while you’re on the move, traveling long distances isn’t such a hassle anymore for most of us. But it’s just like us to take things one step further – FLO TV (a subsidiary of Qualcomm) has unveiled the FLO TV Personal Television and FLO TV mobile TV service. Now you can watch high-quality TV when traveling from here to there.
Mobile TV’s aren’t new, but FLO TV takes things to the next level with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, five hours of battery time, and a dedicated multicast network from FLO TV – no waiting for content to stream, buffer, or download. The FLO TV has a built-in stand, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack in case not everyone likes the sound of SpongeBob’s voice.
For some high-quality mobile TV, get ready to shell out around $249.99 for the TV itself, in addition to the $8.99 monthly subscription fee.
