When the Apple iPad launched, many believed that it would change the print industry for the better and looking back on these comments, it would appear that they were correct. With the iPad, we’ve seen some cool new developments like Alice for the iPad which tells the story of Alice in Wonderland with interactivity.
There’s now a new app called Flipboard that in essence creates a personalized magazine that will cater to your preferences and likings using your social content. The free application will connect into your Facebook or Twitter account and will arrange all of your likes or retweets into an easy to read format and the cool thing is the changes are real time. Flipboard is still very new, the developers are looking at implementing Flickr and LinkedIn information very soon.
