Android user can look forward to two new features for their Android devices and these include Adobe Flash support and Firefox Mobile.
Adobe Flash support is expected to be available on the open source mobile platform when Android 2.2 (Froyo) becomes available. This was confirmed by Andy Rubin, Vice President of Engineering of Google but unfortunately, though we know this new feature is on the way, we have no idea as to exactly when as an official release date for Android 2.2 was not announced. Some guesstimates put Froyo around late May, but again, this is not confirmed.
The second feature is Firefox Mobile which is now available for Android devices. The current iteration is still just a pre-alpha with developers offering a warning that installation could result in a slowing of your Android device after prolonged use which could require a reboot to restore normal functioning again. Still it’s a start and we can hope that the final version of Firefox Mobile will follow shortly.
