Fans of the open source Mozilla Firefox that have an iPhone will be pleased to hear that Firefox Home is now available on their Apple device. A few weeks ago, Mozilla had submitted an application to Apple for an iPhone app called Firefox Home and it’s now confirmed that this app is approved.

This isn’t another Internet browser for the iPhone, as Apple would be unlikely to approve it since it would compete with their Safari browser. Firefox Home is a synchronization application that will give you complete access to all of your bookmarks, browsing history and tabs that you have in your Firefox browser on your desktop computer. Firefox Home makes use of Firefox’s Sync add-on which enables users to upload their complete Firefox profile to the cloud.
