Have you ever seen the video Jack Ass? If not, it’s a video of people doing some outrageous stunts, things most people wouldn’t even consider doing. When I read about the Fire Footbag by Freedom Footbags, I thought it was only a matter of time before someone completely screws up with this and the screw up ends up on a Jack Ass video or the person wins a Darwin award for the year.

Fire Footbag is really just a hacky sack, the type you used to kick around with a group of friends in a circle when you were in school (or still are in school). The difference between this one and the one that kids play with on the playground, is the Fire Footbag is made from Kevlar fiber, and there’s a good reason it’s made of Kevlar fiber.

That’s because with the footbag, you soak it in white gas, kerosene or tiki torch fuel. From there, get a standard lighter, light the ball on fire and start playing hacky sack. Obviously the designer of this gadget realizes the substantial number of hazards that such a toy, would have and hence they have quite a list of disclaimers on their site.
