There’s no doubt sports car lovers all over the world that can afford the trip and time will be heading to Abu Dhabi next year. Ferrari’s theme park is on track to open next year, with blazing fast attractions to whet every speedster’s appetite. There will be rollercoasters, displays, and driving experiences to be enjoyed, all under the hot-rod red Ferrari GT-inspired roof.
Ferrari has confirmed that “the world’s fastest rollercoaster” will be on hand at the opening. It’s going to reach speeds of up to 125 miles per hour (200kph) and rise 200 feet, up through the bright red roof and back down. Those who would like to experience what racing in a Ferrari is like will have a blast with several racing simulators.
The Ferrari theme park is based northeast of Abu Dhabi, on the Yas Island. It’s a rather auspicious location for such a theme park, since it’s right at the crossroads of Asia, Europe, and Africa. It’s bound to be a worldwide tourist destination, and with racing gaining popularity in the sports world as it is, it should soon become a motorsport enthusiast’s Mecca.
