When it comes to candy, most companies, understandably move towards elegance when advertising chocolate. Some speak about the heart benefits of cocoa. Others speak about taking a small break from a hectic day with a piece of their decadent chocolate bar.

Not so with Fat Pig Chocolates. They are the complete opposite with their advertising campaign. It reminds me a bit of George in Seinfeld where he did the complete opposite of everything he normally would do and things worked out for him.

It certainly looks like Fat Pig Chocolates, a product of Brooklyn Brothers is getting significant press by doing the opposite of what is socially correct. Right from their foil wrap, which features a pink pig nose, they clearly indicate what will happen if you eat to much chocolate. On the back of their wrappers are not inspirational quotes, but rather nasty notes, again pointing out what happens when you eat to much chocolate. Their concept is taken all the way to the individual pieces of chocolate which are each stamped with the word Oink.
