EyeSeeCam is a head mounted camera system that tracks the pupils of the wearer and relays that electronic visual data to servo actuators which can then be used to control robots, video cameras or any number of other gadgets.
The design belongs to research scientists at the University of Munich Hospital who’s original intentions were to study human cognitive behavior but after the system was developed, they soon realized that it will have a variety of commercial applications which they intend to explore.
EyeSeeCam has been fitted with WiFi connectivity so that remote control support can occur over a WLAN using a standard laptop with a firewire port.
