High performance gaming laptops share in common the traits of being expensive and large as well as having hardware that places the focus on performance. The Eurocom Panther 2.0 retains these traits and is said to be the first laptop to include SLI and Crossfire support.
As a result of this, the machine can handle two NVIDIA or AMD GPUs and function properly. In addition to this, the Panther 2.0 also supports Intel based CPUs up to six cores including the Core i7 and the Xeon 5500/5600 range.
The Panther 2.0 will ship in August of this year and although pricing is unknown, it’s a pretty good bet that it will be expensive. The laptop will handle upwards of 24GB RAM, 4TB storage and a newer USB 3.0 port.
