The Samsung S5500E Lydford is the latest mobile phone to go green. The packaging as well as the slider itself is made out of recycled material, thereby reducing the environmental impact and footprint of this device.
The Samsung phone comes with a unique alarm that rings to alert the mobile user once the battery has been fully charged. Of course, this has an energy saving benefit as it prevents overcharging.
The Samsung S5500E Lydford includes a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 3 megapixel digital camera and HSDPA connectivity. Pricing and release date were not announced at the time of this new product announcement.
