Kingston’s announcement of their 128GB DT200 USB drive may have been in advance of Edge Tech’s announcement, but it is Edge Tech that has come out with the cheaper flash drive. Known as the DiskGo 128GB USB flash drive, this drive is more then $150 cheaper then the Kingston USB drive.
With a release date of July 31st, the 128GB DiskGO is housed in an aluminum case and supports full data encryption using a trail version of encryption software known as CryptArchiver.
Although the release date is still more then a month away, Edge Tech is accepting pre-orders for the high capacity drive through their website.
The 128GB DiskGo will retail for $389.95 and includes free shipping, a lifetime warranty and free technical support.
