Each year, PET (Polyethylene terephthalate ) plastic bottles are created in large volumes and many end up in local landfills.
Miulein, an Austrian Industrial Design student came up with an easy DIY project where she took the bottom of two PET bottles, added a zipper and created an ecofriendly, cute handmade purse.
This cool purse is small enough to hold your knick knacks be it breath mints, spare change, ID cards or whatever else you see fit to carry when you head out for the evening. The purse itself is a soothing green color, but if you undertook this DIY project, you could probably find some colored bottles to suit your fancy.
Just think, not only will you be going green and helping the environment, but you’ve created a cheap purse for just the price of a couple of recycled bottles.
