Emergency mobile phone chargers are highly sought after considering our dependence upon wireless gadgets. This cool bracelet, still a conceptual product, was designed by third year students at Nantes Atlantic Design School (France) and addresses the challenge of wireless devices needing battery charging on the go.
The Dyson Energy Concept draws on the scientific principal known as the Seebeck effect which is a phenomenon whereby a temperature variance between two dissimilar electrical conductors or semiconductors (such as the skin surface and ambient air) produces a voltage difference between the two substances.
This form of energy is captured and stored in a portable battery pack which can subsequently be used to recharge mobile gadgets by simply plugging them into the micro-usb port located on the bracelet.
