If you can’t decide whether you want to buy an open source Android tablet or a Windows 7 tablet and don’t mind putting off your purchase for a couple of months, there is a new device on the horizon that might be worth taking a look at.
It’s called the MintPass and this device is a dual boot tablet that supports both Microsoft Windows 7 as well as Google Android. The tablet which will be available in the first half of 2011 will make use of Space Touch, a new touchscreen technology. MintPass will also include dual screens so that you can browse the Internet while watching a movie at the same time.
Currently, the developers of MintPass are working to gain Google certification of their device so that it has full access to the Android Market on the launch date. Unfortunately, little else is known about this device including its hardware specifications or pricing but more information will be available as the device gets closer to its launch date.
