Square Enix’s Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies which is hugely popular within Japan now has some launch dates for other parts of the world. Nintendo has confirmed that gamers in Europe will be able to this game on July 23rd while those in the US can pick it up about two weeks earlier on July 11th.

The game has been quite a success for Nintendo with over 4.2 million copies having been sold thus far. It is also the ninth installment in this RPG series. Like past versions, gamers will be able to personalize their characters, get involved in an epic quest and fight monsters. Square Enix has promised that version 9 will be the “most difficult” Dragon Quest game to date.
